Haitian international Fafà Picault, nicknamed “The Gazelle,” has been officially announced as a new player for Inter Miami CF. The 33-year-old winger and forward brings eight years of Major League Soccer (MLS) experience, highlighted by 57 goals and 30 assists, and a strong presence on the international stage with Haiti’s national team.

Inter Miami, led by president David Beckham, sees Picault as a valuable addition. “We’re excited to welcome Fafà to Inter Miami CF,” said Raúl Sanllehí, President of Football Operations. “His pace, skill, and proven MLS track record can bring valuable quality and experience to our front lines as we aim for success in 2025.”

For Picault, the move to Inter Miami is more than just a career step—it’s a return to his roots. Raised in South Florida between ages nine and 16, he described the signing as a childhood dream fulfilled.

Picault joins Inter Miami after a standout 2024 season with Vancouver Whitecaps, where he contributed 10 goals and eight assists, helping the team secure the Canadian Championship and an MLS Playoffs spot. His MLS journey includes successful stints with Nashville SC, Houston Dynamo FC, Philadelphia Union, and FC Dallas. Notably, he played a key role in Nashville SC’s Leagues Cup run in 2023, scoring in both the semifinals and final.

His versatility and consistency make him a reliable offensive asset. Picault achieved double-digit goal seasons in MLS play, including 11 goals for Houston Dynamo in 2021 and 10 goals for Philadelphia Union in 2018.

Before his MLS career, Picault made his mark in South Florida, playing for the Tampa Bay Rowdies in 2012 and the Fort Lauderdale Strikers in 2014. Abroad, he gained experience with Sparta Prague in the Czech Republic and FC St. Pauli in Germany’s 2. Bundesliga.

Internationally, Picault has earned 14 caps with the Haitian national team, representing the country in major tournaments like the Concacaf Gold Cup and FIFA World Cup qualifiers. He also had brief stints with the U.S. Men’s National Team before committing to Haiti.

Picault joins a high-profile roster that includes global superstar Lionel Messi. With Inter Miami aiming for success across multiple competitions in 2025, Picault’s experience and homecoming spirit could play a pivotal role in their campaign.
