Haitian actor and producer Jimmy Jean-Louis, best known for his role as “The Haitian” in the NBC series Heroes, has announced what appears to be the release of his personal memoir. The book, written in French, will be available in bookstores starting October 24, 2024. Jean-Louis shared the news with his followers, encouraging them to pre-order the book.
Born in Pétion-Ville, Haiti, Jean-Louis moved to Paris as a young boy and later transitioned from modeling to acting. He has appeared in major films such as The Bourne Identity and Tears of the Sun and has worked across Europe, the U.S., and Africa. His career spans decades, including his recent co-production and acting role in the Indian film The Goat Life.
The memoir is expected to offer a personal glimpse into his journey from Haiti to international stardom, recounting both challenges and triumphs.
