Haiti’s Under-17 football team made a powerful statement in their opening match of the Concacaf Under-17 qualifiers, securing a decisive 5-0 victory against Saint Vincent and the Grenadines. The game, held in Guatemala on February 11, saw the Haitian squad take full control from the start, delivering a commanding performance.

Saint Vincent and the Grenadines were considered the underdogs in Group E, and Haiti quickly proved their superiority on the pitch. By halftime, Haiti had already built a comfortable 3-0 lead, with Emerson Laissé scoring the opener in the 12th minute. Nicolaï Pierre then followed with two goals (20th and 42nd minutes), solidifying Haiti’s dominance early on.

The second half saw more of the same as Haiti maintained its attacking momentum. Just after the break, Theo Lacombe added a fourth goal in the 46th minute, and Franco Celestin sealed the victory with a fifth goal in the 78th minute.
